Pratt Industries is seeking a motivated Production Utility Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive starting salary of $18.00 per hour and a clear path to a lifelong career in manufacturing.

About the Role

As a Production Utility Operator, you will be involved in all aspects of our manufacturing floor, contributing to the production of essential packaging materials for well-known companies like Home Depot, Amazon, and Hello Fresh. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in various production processes to manufacture bags and packing paper.
• Support packaging and material handling operations.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for tasks like reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
• Capacity to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts, varying humidity, and loud noise levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the packaging industry (paper, plastics, converting).
• At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing operation.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position. You will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and frequently to wet/humid conditions. Occasional exposure to high places, fumes/airborne particles, and vibration may occur. The work environment is typically loud.
