Who we are

English Jobs Italy is operated from Italy by a solo developer. Data is stored on a self-hosted server located in Italy. This page covers what data we collect, why, and how you can delete it.

What we store about you

• Email address — used only to send you the one-time sign-in link and to identify your account.
• Display name and avatar URL — only if you sign in with Google. We store the public profile fields Google returns.
• Language preference (en / it) — so the site comes back in the language you used.
• Saved jobs — the list of role IDs you've bookmarked.

We do not store passwords (we don't use any), IP addresses past a 24-hour anti-abuse window, or any browsing history beyond anonymous page-view totals.

What we don't do

• We never send your data to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any third-party LLM provider.
• We never sell your data. We never have advertisers target you personally.

Cookies

• Session cookie — required for sign-in. Set when you click a magic link or complete a Google sign-in. First-party, HTTP-only.
• Analytics — we use Plausible (self-hosted, cookie-less, no personal data) for basic traffic counts.

Deleting your data

Go to Account → Delete my data (coming soon) or email us at hello@englishjobsitaly.it. Your account and saved jobs are soft-deleted immediately and hard-purged within 30 days, as required by GDPR.

Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, rectify, export, and erase your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us. We'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material we'll email everyone with an account at least 14 days before it takes effect.
