Agilent Technologies is seeking a motivated and experienced Service Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors in South Korea. This is a remote position with significant travel required within the Chungcheong Province.
About the Role
As the primary interface between Agilent and our customers, you will be responsible for selling Agilent products and solutions, including CrossLab Services. You will identify and develop new and existing sales opportunities within assigned named accounts and/or territories, focusing on clients in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, API, and CDMO industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Agilent products, solutions, and services to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical end-user customers.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, representing Agilent in all sales-related activities.
- Drive revenue growth by generating new and existing sales opportunities within assigned accounts and/or territory, primarily in the Chungcheong Province.
- Develop and execute account strategies for pharma, biopharma, API, and CDMO customers, aligned with Agilent’s business objectives.
- Promote and sell Agilent products, systems, software, and services, proactively informing customers about new product introductions and regulatory-related solutions.
- Identify customer needs in QC, QA, R&D, and manufacturing environments, and position appropriate Agilent solutions.
- Create, monitor, and continuously improve lead generation and opportunity pipeline plans.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at customer sites.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional sales engagement and collaboration with internal teams.
- Encourage customer utilization of Agilent digital tools and online sales platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Science, or a related scientific field.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical laboratory workflows, such as QC, analytical testing, method validation, or regulatory compliance (GMP environment).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently within a defined territory while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (mainly Chungcheong Province) - approximately 50% of the time.
