Ameritas is seeking dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our Group (dental and vision) insurance division. This is an inbound call center position focused on providing exceptional service to our members and providers, fostering customer loyalty.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for policyholders, providers, and plan participants. You will handle inquiries via phone and written correspondence, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of issues related to eligibility, plan provisions, and claim status.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with policyholders, providers, and plan participants to answer questions, process transactions, and resolve issues.
• Accurately document customer inquiries and related data electronically.
• Provide back-office support to service teams as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of plan participants and policyholders in compliance with privacy policies.
• Contribute to department goals by meeting established service standards and metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related experience. Previous contact center, customer service, dental office, or insurance experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and strong keyboarding skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative in assessing situations.
• Ability to work overtime when required to support business needs.
