Impel is seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This is an outside sales role focused on driving net new business within the Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) sector, primarily within the automotive industry. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing opportunities, and achieving ambitious sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with automotive dealers, brands, and groups within your territory to introduce Impel's products and programs to key decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all company products and programs.
- Effectively manage a sales pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.
- Demonstrate proven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Provide insights into the competitive landscape, including competitor products and issues.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings and relevant trade shows.
- Accurately track all customer communications and sales activities in Salesforce.
- Drive partner success by maximizing sales through best practices, support, and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales experience or in a Sales Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry.
- Sales experience in technology (SaaS) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Platforms.
- Proven experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management.
- Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision-makers.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and eager to learn and improve.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity as a representative of the Impel brand.
- Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
