About the Role
The Manager, Client Success will be a key partner for designated clients, ensuring their business needs are met with a high degree of quality. This role focuses on driving client satisfaction, retention, and operational excellence throughout the client lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day needs and ensuring smooth delivery of services.
- Lead and coach a team of account managers, ensuring consistent communication and reporting. Act as a key escalation point for issue resolution.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with strategic accounts, overseeing client engagements including implementation, forecasting, project tracking, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, product) to align client goals with Datavant’s solutions.
- Support client success planning and identify opportunities for expanded engagement through additional products or services.
- Partner with Client Success leadership to escalate and resolve complex client challenges.
- Track and report on client performance metrics and service level agreements.
- Help define and implement best practices for account management, reporting, and client communication.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive developments to guide clients effectively.
- Learn and improve systems, processes, and technologies supporting client delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in client management, account management, or customer success roles.
- Experience working in the healthcare insurance and/or healthcare audit industry is required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage relationships across client and internal teams.
- Proven success in delivering client-focused solutions that meet business needs.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in project management and data tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
