Graduate Total Account Manager – Scientific Sales

Are you a recent science graduate or early-career professional with a passion for customer engagement and a desire to launch your career in sales? Agilent Technologies is seeking a motivated, coachable, and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic sales team. This is an opportunity to build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities across our full product and service portfolio through our Total Account Management approach.

You will gain first-hand experience in solution-based selling, customer interaction, and business development, supported by structured training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.

About the Role

As a Graduate Total Account Manager, you will:

  • Partner with Account Managers to support existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, promote tailored solutions, and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Assist with sales processes including quoting, lead generation, and contract renewals.
  • Support the sales of analytical instruments, consumables, and service contracts.
  • Aid in telesales and inside sales activities targeting untapped and high-potential accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and product specialists to deliver value-added support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 1–2 years of professional experience (including internships, part-time, or graduate roles).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in customer engagement.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a commercial environment.
  • A passion for scientific instruments and a desire to build a career in sales.
