GTM Systems Manager

Spellbook is seeking a GTM Systems Manager to own the architecture, integration, and optimization of our Sales and CS technology stack. This is a remote, permanent position based in Canada, perfect for someone at the mid-level looking to make a significant impact in a fast-growing tech company.

About the Role

As the GTM Systems Manager, you will be at the intersection of systems design, revenue operations, and process implementation. You will be the primary owner of our core GTM tools, with HubSpot serving as our system of record, alongside other critical platforms like Unify, Gong, and Clay. You will define and execute the systems roadmap, acting as a key thought partner to Sales, CS, and RevOps teams to drive efficiency and revenue growth through a robust platform foundation. Your focus will be on designing scalable workflows and automation, prioritizing initiatives that propel the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • GTM Tech Stack Ownership:
    • Manage the architecture and daily operations of the Sales and CS tech stack, with HubSpot as the central system of record.
    • Evaluate, implement, and integrate new tools to create a cohesive and high-leverage revenue infrastructure.
    • Lead system integrations, ensuring seamless and reliable data flow across the entire stack using native connectors, middleware, and APIs.
    • Make strategic decisions on tool acquisition, consolidation, and elimination to optimize efficiency.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the system architecture to ensure clarity and scalability.
  • HubSpot Administration:
    • Serve as the primary administrator for HubSpot, managing users, teams, permissions, properties, pipelines, and lifecycle stages.
    • Develop and maintain workflows, automations, and reporting to support daily Sales and CS operations.
    • Establish and enforce data governance policies, including naming conventions, data hygiene, deduplication, and record lifecycle management.
  • Business Process Design:
    • Collaborate with Sales and CS leaders to document and continuously improve core GTM business processes, including lead-to-opportunity, opportunity-to-close, onboarding, renewals, and expansions.
    • Proactively identify and address friction points within the revenue motion to prevent bottlenecks.
    • Build the operational foundation for new GTM strategies and initiatives as the company evolves.
  • AI & Automation:
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation for repetitive GTM workflows such as data enrichment, lead routing, follow-ups, and reporting.
    • Stay informed about advancements in the modern revenue stack and provide insights on strategic technology investments.
  • Enablement & Adoption:
    • Partner with the Enablement team to drive user adoption of the systems and processes you implement.
    • Create documentation, training materials, and manage change for new processes and tools.
    • Measure system adoption and iterate based on feedback and performance data.
    • Act as the internal subject matter expert and escalation point for systems and process-related inquiries.
    • Support other projects and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, GTM systems, or sales operations within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on CRM expertise, with a proven ability to architect a CRM system from the ground up. HubSpot experience and certifications are a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of CRM integration across the modern revenue stack, from prospecting and enrichment to conversation intelligence and customer success tooling.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable systems and process solutions.
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, establishing new processes while streamlining existing ones.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong execution orientation, capable of operating at both high-level and detailed levels.
  • Proactive with a bias for action and a willingness to adapt opinions based on new information.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, CS, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Strong documentation habits and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Curiosity about AI tools and their potential to streamline revenue workflows.
