You will collaborate closely with our Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering teams, working on our enterprise AI SaaS product. This role involves both building and operating, shipping code that directly impacts pipeline and conversion.
Key Responsibilities

- Audit the existing GTM stack, identify gaps and redundancies, and implement solutions rapidly.
- Embed with sales and growth teams to translate their best practices into scalable systems for the entire organization.
- Develop internal tools and agents to automate manual workflows, including lead routing, data enrichment, outbound personalization, account research, content distribution, and attribution.
- Determine when to utilize off-the-shelf tools versus building custom solutions.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to test new features, provide feedback, and dogfood AI capabilities for GTM use cases.
- Create playbooks and internal guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and propagate successful strategies across the team.
About You
- Possess 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a portion directly applied to GTM, growth, or revenue systems.
- Proficient user of AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, with a track record of shipping non-trivial projects using them.
- Experience building with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents, including concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), evaluation frameworks, tool use, and prompt engineering.
- Hands-on experience with the modern GTM stack (e.g., Clay, HubSpot/Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach/Instantly) and fluency in navigating APIs, webhooks, and integrations.
- Strong product and design sensibility, ensuring internal tools are polished and user-friendly.
- A systems-thinking approach to problem-solving, adept at transforming complex operational challenges into automated solutions.
- Demonstrated commercial instinct, with the ability to identify leverage points from sales calls or growth dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, especially in ambiguous situations.
- Experience building and maintaining production systems used by real users (internal users are included).
- Bonus points:
- Experience in early-stage startups or building personal products.

- Operate at the core of the company, collaborating across Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies, including the latest coding tools, LLMs, and GTM platforms.
- Experience a fast-paced environment with weekly shipping cycles and rapid feedback loops.
- As the first GTM Engineer, you will have a significant impact in shaping the function's future as Pogo scales.
Why You Might Not Be Excited About Us
- Shifting Priorities: Be prepared for priorities to change quickly as we tackle ambiguous problems without clear-cut answers. We embrace experimentation and pivot based on data and user feedback.
- Calculated Speed: We value iterating and shipping weekly. This means building solutions rapidly rather than engaging in lengthy processes.
- Autonomy: We operate with minimal management overhead, expecting individuals to be self-driven and energized by the freedom to run with initiatives.
- Work Hours: While we trust you to manage your schedule flexibly, expect that significant impact at our current stage may require more than traditional 9-to-5 hours. We strongly encourage time off to recharge, offering unlimited PTO alongside a mandatory minimum of 20 vacation days.
