IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Global Sales Account Director, focusing on the Luxury & Lifestyle segment in Eastern Europe. This remote role offers the opportunity to manage a significant portfolio of prestigious luxury accounts, primarily working with top-tier luxury travel agents and tour operators.

About the Role

This position is an opportunity to make a lasting impact by delivering exceptional commercial results across IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle brands for hotels globally. You will be the driving force behind key relationships, identifying and converting high-value revenue opportunities, building trust with senior decision-makers, and developing innovative account strategies to foster sustainable growth and increase market share.

Your Day to Day

  • Drive revenue, production, and market share growth across your account portfolio, achieving sales targets and contributing to the outperformance of our Luxury & Lifestyle brands.
  • Own and manage account relationships with a focus on Luxury & Lifestyle brands, providing a comprehensive view of the partnership across all organizational levels.
  • Understand individual account needs and design tailored solutions that maximize returns for both clients and IHG, clearly differentiating our brands from competitors.
  • Formulate account strategies to optimize performance and unlock strategic opportunities across various company functions and regions.
  • Engage and align global and regional sales teams, regional leadership, hotel operations, and functional groups including technology, marketing, loyalty & partnerships, procurement, and senior management.
  • Deliver end-to-end strategic account management, encompassing account planning, performance updates, RFPs, brand differentiation initiatives, agency events, roadshows, tradeshows, B2B marketing, and sales activities.

You'll Bring:

  • A strategic account management mindset with a focus on innovative approaches to grow market share and deliver commercially creative solutions.
  • Strong business, financial, and commercial acumen, with the ability to assess the impact of growth strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of Luxury & Lifestyle hotel brands, customers, and the competitive landscape.
  • Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments with senior client engagement.
  • A proven track record of planning, executing, and delivering large-scale sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • A strong understanding of hotel sales, marketing, and business planning.
  • Awareness of macro-economic and industry trends influencing account strategy.
  • Commercial agility and the ability to influence across owned, managed, and franchised environments.
  • International exposure or experience managing accounts with global reach is highly desirable.
