About the Role

Nivoda is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Global Fulfillment Team. You will be the primary analytical partner for the Fulfillment Department, focusing on optimizing supply chain, logistics, and delivery operations for speed, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. This role involves bridging complex logistical data with actionable business strategy. The ideal candidate is a SQL expert adept at uncovering insights from data and leveraging modern AI tools for efficiency. You will play a crucial role in monitoring fulfillment performance, identifying issues, and empowering the team with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Optimization: Analyze fulfillment workflows to identify bottlenecks and propose data-backed solutions for improved delivery speed, cost efficiency, and reliability.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards for key fulfillment KPIs (e.g., shipping costs, transit times, SLA adherence, hub performance), ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
• SQL & Data Analysis: Independently write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large fulfillment datasets. Translate business questions into structured queries and build reusable data models.
• Insights & Decision Support: Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within fulfillment data, generating clear, actionable insights and recommendations for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Logistics, Product, and Data teams to understand challenges, support decision-making, and contribute analytical input to strategic initiatives.
• Data Modeling: Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure fulfillment data is clean, well-structured, and scalable within the data warehouse.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor data integrity across fulfillment systems, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key fulfillment KPIs, flag issues, investigate root causes, and support continuous monitoring of courier performance and delivery speed.
• Leverage AI Tools: Utilize AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate tasks, and draft written outputs.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role.
• Advanced SQL: Strong proficiency in writing complex, performant SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to translate raw data into clear insights and recommendations that influence business decisions.
• Problem Solving: Ability to investigate ambiguous problems, identify root causes, and structure data-driven solutions.
• Domain Interest: Interest in logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces, or supply chain operations.
• AI Tools: Experience using AI tools to enhance analytical work.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment.
• Supply chain and logistics experience.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Exposure to data transformation tools like dbt or experience structuring reusable datasets/models.
• Experience building dashboards in visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
