About the Role
Planet's Customer Success team is seeking an experienced Regional Manager, Customer Success, for Defence and Intelligence (D&I) to lead a growing team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in the Asia Region. Your mission will be to develop the existing team and hire world-class talent in this fast-growing region. You will also serve as the senior customer success contact in the region, acting as the executive sponsor for customers and collaborating with cross-functional leads to ensure we are driving maximum value and satisfaction. This position co-owns the renewal and expansion targets for the region, making collaboration with CSMs and Sales critical to meeting or exceeding goals.

Requirements
- 10-15 years of customer-facing experience, preferably in Customer Success or equivalent roles such as Account Management or Consulting.
- Proven track record of building strong customer/client relationships and collaborative problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of defence industries, potentially including sales, business development, or program/project management.
- Experience with intelligence collection, ideally space-based or geospatial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR).
- Experience with intelligence analysis and dissemination.
- Direct management experience.
- Exceptional customer communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience driving customer value, expansion, and renewals.
- Ability to work effectively across distributed and cross-functional teams, with strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in at least one Asian language is highly desirable.
