About the Role
The Director of People & Culture will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the People & Culture function at San Clemente Palace Venice. This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach to talent management, employee engagement, and fostering a positive and productive work environment aligned with Mandarin Oriental's core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the People & Culture department, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development.

- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior People & Culture or Human Resources leadership role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of talent management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- A passion for creating exceptional employee experiences.
- Fluency in English is required.
