About the Role

As a Legal Consultant, you will provide expert legal advice and support to business clients, navigating the complexities of the financial regulatory environment. You will play a key role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating derivatives documentation, contributing to risk mitigation strategies, and assisting with product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise business clients directly, offering guidance and practical solutions within the evolving financial regulatory landscape.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of standard and complex derivatives documentation for both sell-side and buy-side clients.
• Support essential projects driven by current regulatory and political changes.
• Provide advice on risk mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to up-to-date regulatory standards.
• Assist with the development of new products and markets as needed.

Requirements

• Qualified legal practitioner with ideally 2+ years of experience in derivatives or structured products.
• Experience gained either in private practice or in-house.
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Adaptability to new situations and work environments.
• Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks and derivatives documentation.
