About the Role
Gameloft is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of complex features and elevate the overall quality of the player experience. This role requires strong UX thinking and UI execution, with an emphasis on ownership, decision-making, and improving both design quality and team output.
Key Responsibilities
- UI/UX Design Leadership: Lead the design of complex features from user flows to final UI, define clear interaction models, and ensure a coherent player experience. Make design decisions that balance player needs, game design goals, and technical constraints.
- Feature Ownership: Own the UI/UX of key features from concept to implementation, driving alignment with Game Design, Tech, and Production teams. Anticipate risks and resolve design challenges early.
- Design Quality & Consistency: Ensure a high level of quality, clarity, and consistency across features. Apply and reinforce existing UI systems and UX patterns, and propose improvements for identified gaps.
- Documentation & Implementation: Produce clear, structured, and complete documentation (flows, specs, behaviors) to ensure designs are ready for development with minimal ambiguity. Follow implementation closely to guarantee quality.
- Team Contribution & Mentorship: Support other designers through feedback and guidance, help improve team practices, and share knowledge to raise the overall skill level of the team.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Game Design, Tech, and Production to ensure smooth feature development, communicate design decisions clearly, and help reduce friction by improving clarity and alignment.
Requirements
- Solid experience in UI/UX design for games or interactive products.
- Strong ability to design end-to-end experiences (flows → UI → implementation).
- Deep understanding of usability, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience delivering complex features in production environments.
- Proficiency with Figma.
- Experience creating clear and complete design documentation (e.g., using Confluence).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working on mobile and console games.
- Ability to take ownership of complex problems and drive them to solution.
- Strong focus on clarity, usability, and consistency.
- Proactive mindset for identifying and addressing issues.
