Customer Support Representative (Remote)
BCD Travel is seeking a motivated Customer Support Representative to join our global team. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position open to candidates in Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries related to online booking tools, service issues, and general customer support. Your primary goal will be to provide timely and effective resolutions, investigate the root causes of issues, and identify opportunities for improvement. You will ensure all customer correspondence is handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer requests accurately and completely.
- Address customer inquiries professionally, fostering positive working relationships.
- Consistently meet and strive to exceed individual and team performance goals.
- Utilize industry and system knowledge to identify the root cause of issues, explore alternative solutions, and advise customers appropriately.
- Employ positive language and communication techniques to ensure positive customer interactions.
- Ensure timely turnaround of all customer service correspondence.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a corporate travel office.
- Proficiency in GDS Amadeus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of the Energy, Resource, and Marine (ERM) segment in business travel is a plus.
