About the Role
We are seeking a Senior CRO Manager to join our team as we scale our category-defining document management platform. Having moved beyond the MVP stage, our product is battle-tested, profitable, and serves hundreds of thousands of customers globally. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on ownership, speed, and building scalable solutions. If you're looking for a challenging role with autonomy and rapid growth, this is for you.
This is a hands-on position where you will own the complete optimization loop from end-to-end. This includes deep funnel analysis, hypothesis generation, creating high-fidelity wireframes and visual specifications, collaborating directly with engineers, and driving measurable performance outcomes. Your scope will extend beyond landing page optimizations to encompass the entire user journey, from acquisition through activation, retention, and monetization. We operate at a fast, iterative pace, shipping in days and continuously learning.
Our compensation structure is designed to directly reward high performers, with significant financial upside tied to your impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end optimization cycles: research, hypothesis generation, design, testing, and rollout, maintaining short iteration loops.
- Utilize AI tools daily to accelerate research, ideation, design, analysis, and documentation.
- Conduct in-depth funnel and product analysis across the full user journey (acquisition, activation, retention, monetization), including competitive benchmarking to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Design high-fidelity wireframes and visual specifications that clearly communicate your vision while maintaining brand integrity. (Note: Design is built in Next.js and TailwindCSS, not Figma).
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless test implementation and rapid deployment.
- Analyze test results with statistical rigor and make confident decisions for scaling.
- Document learnings and maintain a continuously prioritized testing roadmap.
- Present insights and results clearly to stakeholders to build alignment and momentum.
Requirements
- Proven CRO Results: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on CRO experience, preferably with subscription or SaaS funnels, demonstrating documented performance improvements.
- Funnel and Product Thinking: Ability to think holistically about the entire user journey and how product decisions influence funnel performance.
- AI-Native Workflow: Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into your daily workflow for prompting, prototyping, analysis, and drafting.
- Design Sensibility: Strong UI/UX understanding with the ability to create compelling, detailed visual specifications.
- Speed and Iteration: A bias for shipping quickly, prioritizing iterative improvements over prolonged perfection.
- Analytical Depth: Proficiency with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, GrowthBook, Google Analytics, or similar.
- Execution Excellence: Exceptional attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Ownership Mentality: Self-driven, proactive, and fully accountable for outcomes.
- Fluent English: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing attribution models, UTM parameters, and ROAS measurement.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute rapidly.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Location
This is a remote position. Ruby Labs operates within the Central European Time (CET) zone. Applicants should be located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET to ensure optimal collaboration during working hours.
What We Offer
- Remote Work Environment: Enjoy the flexibility and autonomy of working from anywhere, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
- Unlimited Paid Time Off: Take as much paid time off as you need to recharge and prioritize your well-being.
- Paid National Holidays: Enjoy paid time off on national holidays.
- Company-Provided MacBook: Receive a top-tier Apple MacBook to support your productivity.
- Flexible Independent Contractor Agreement: Benefit from flexibility, autonomy, potential tax advantages, and reduced employment obligations.
Interview Process
