This is a fully remote, Australia-based position.

About the Role

Montu is seeking passionate Registered Nurses based in Western Australia to join our Alternaleaf Clinic team. In this part-time, fully remote role, you will conduct structured telehealth assessment consultations, gathering essential clinical information and guiding patients through their treatment expectations. Your primary focus will be ensuring patients receive safe and timely care within a highly structured, fast-paced environment.

This role requires a commitment to a 3-day workweek (0.6 FTE) with no flexibility in the roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a high volume of telehealth assessment consultations daily.
• Provide empathetic, non-judgmental care while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Accurately document consultation outcomes to support safe and effective prescribing.
• Respond to patient inquiries, offer follow-up support, and escalate issues as needed.
• Liaise with prescribers and the Patient Care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Deliver care from your home office in a structured environment with scheduled breaks.
• Support the team with general administrative tasks and contribute to a collaborative, remote-first culture.

Roster Details

• Commitment: 3 days per week (0.6 FTE)
• Available Rosters (WAST):
  • Monday to Wednesday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday to Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Please note: There is no flexibility with this roster.

Requirements

• Must be located in Western Australia.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no practice restrictions.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical nursing experience.
• Proficiency in patient assessments, care planning, and risk screening.
• Experience with chronic disease management.
• Previous telehealth or virtual care experience is highly regarded.
• Confident in conducting remote consultations.
• Strong IT proficiency is essential.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs and technology updates.
• Emotionally resilient and able to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Commitment to working part-time hours (3 days per week) as per the specified roster.
• Mental health nursing and/or medicinal cannabis experience is a plus.
