About the Role
As an Autodesk Civil 3D Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Civil Engineering team and assisting other disciplines with drafting needs. You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of design projects, contributing to our new market expansion and corporate initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work independently or collaboratively, performing day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an in-house Autodesk Civil 3D designer.
- Assist other disciplines with drafting requirements as needed.
- Adhere to established drafting and plan preparation standards.
- Produce technical drawings and comprehensive plan sets.
- Manage daily tasks efficiently with a high degree of autonomy.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience with drafting and design principles.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn Revit to support MEP, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player and coordinate with members across multiple disciplines.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Willingness to mentor other team members.
- Associate's degree in Drafting Design Technology or Civil Engineering Technology; Bachelor's degree in Engineering Design Technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience using Civil 3D within the Civil Infrastructure industry.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
