Customer Service Representative I (Remote)

SanMar-Internal is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative I. This is a permanent, remote position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to provide world-class support to our internal and external customers.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative I (CSR I), you will be the first point of contact for customers, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of our company's products, processes, programs, and technology to deliver exceptional service. You will play a key role in building positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls with professionalism, aiming to establish positive rapport.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain customer data using computer system applications.
• Educate customers on products and services via phone, email, and chat.
• Provide basic troubleshooting, including product knowledge, recommendations, and problem resolution.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and team members.
• Stay informed on all communications and training to ensure adherence to protocols.
• Develop and expand knowledge of relevant company products, processes, programs, and technology.
• Undertake other related duties and projects as assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
• Ability to meet accuracy and productivity expectations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math and computer skills are essential.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or ODY is a plus.

What We Offer

• Salary Range:
  • $20.82 - $25.00 (WA, NJ)
  • $19.05 - $22.88 (MN, NV, TX, VA)
  • $18.32 - $22.00 (Other Locations)
