Customer Success Architect (Remote)

Sigma Computing is seeking a talented and experienced Customer Success Architect to join our growing team. As a Customer Success Architect (CSA), you will be a vital part of our post-sales customer experience, providing technical expertise and ensuring our customers achieve their objectives using Sigma's innovative platform. This is a remote, permanent position based in the USA.

About the Role

The CSA team is dedicated to customer success, acting as a bridge between our customers, partners, and product teams. You will be a Sigma champion and product expert, advising customers on technical best practices and helping them maximize the value they derive from our solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with customers to understand their needs, design and implement tailored analytics solutions, and provide ongoing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and product expert for customers, guiding them on technical best practices.
  • Provide expertise on Sigma best practices, performance tuning, security (including SSO, team organization, and row-level security), embedded analytics, and API access.
  • Advise on related data products such as Cloud Data Warehouses (CDW), ETL, and catalog tools.
  • Capture valuable product feedback from customers and collaborate with the product team to influence the product roadmap.
  • Identify new use cases and opportunities to grow customer accounts, ensuring renewals and demonstrating Sigma's value.
  • Cultivate customer references for marketing initiatives.
  • Design and develop software solutions for Business Intelligence and analytics products.
  • Implement tailored analytics solutions in customer environments, advising on best practices for implementation, performance, security, embedded analytics, and API access.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to deliver and enhance customer solutions.
  • Document software and technical implementations.
  • Monitor deployed solutions and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Continuously learn product capabilities, release processes, and maintenance procedures to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, working in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Customer Success, Consulting).
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Solid understanding of database concepts.
  • Experience with data warehousing, preferably cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and writing software and custom solutions using technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, React, GraphQL, and GitHub.
  • Experience with ETL processes.
  • Experience implementing production Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and Web Development is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Ability to work remotely full-time.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (eventually).
