About the Role
You will own engineering at Lemon.io. This is a hands-on role where you will lead a growing team of engineers, make critical architecture and prioritization decisions, and be directly accountable for the speed and quality of our product development. You will be deeply involved in product decisions, working side-by-side with the founder.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap, ensuring all engineering efforts directly contribute to business impact.
- Lead and grow an engineering team focused on rapid shipping, constant iteration, and efficient complexity management.
- Address complex challenges in automated vetting, intelligent matching at scale, and demand-side bottlenecks to identify key areas of leverage.
- Make critical prioritization decisions, determining what to build, skip, or discontinue.
- Collaborate directly with the founder and product team to define success metrics before development begins.
- Build a strong engineering culture characterized by high ownership, speed, and low bureaucracy.
Requirements
- Product-minded with a business-first approach.

- Proven experience leading engineering teams (5-30+ people) at a startup or high-growth company.
