Job Description
Full-Stack Engineer (Remote, LATAM)
Company: Launchpad Technologies Location: Remote (LATAM) Contract Type: Full-time Contractor (4 months, potential for renewal) Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM PST Start Date: June 2026
About the Role
Launchpad Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a critical project for one of our clients. This role is central to a significant transition from manual, spreadsheet-based operations to sophisticated, purpose-built web tools. You will be responsible for transforming clear problem definitions, logic designs, and existing prototypes into production-grade web applications.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you will work directly with operations leadership. The ideal candidate is a fast-paced communicator who can articulate trade-offs clearly and build reliable solutions for demanding operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform data rules and functional prototypes from spreadsheets and legacy macros into robust web applications.
- Develop features from database schema design (PostgreSQL) and backend API development to crafting responsive UIs (React/Next.js & Tailwind).
- Integrate LLM APIs into production workflows for automating operational narratives and extracting insights from structured data.
- Build secure integrations with third-party workforce management APIs.
- Implement frontend data-streaming patterns (WebSockets, SSE, or polling) for real-time operational updates.
- Independently set up, configure, and manage application deployments on cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 6+ years of professional experience in Full-Stack Web Development.
- Backend: Strong expertise in Python, C#, and/or Node.js.
- Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js/React.
- Databases: Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design, query writing, and managing migrations.
- Integrations: Proven experience with REST APIs (authentication, pagination, rate limits) and LLM APIs (prompt engineering, structured outputs, context management).
- Cloud Basics: Ability to deploy and host applications on cloud platforms (Azure preferred) without dedicated DevOps support.
Nice-to-Haves & Bonus Points:
- Experience migrating logic from Excel/VBA to web applications.
- Familiarity with scheduling or workforce management system APIs (e.g., Connecteam, Workforce.com, Deputy).
- Background building operations-facing tooling or experience in rail, transit, hospitality, or tour operations.
- Experience with real-time or near-real-time data display (websockets, SSE, or polling).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API / Microsoft 365 integrations or data visualization libraries.
- Comfort working from functional specifications rather than fully detailed technical designs.
What We Offer
- 100% remote work opportunity from anywhere in LATAM.
- Competitive compensation in USD.
- Opportunity to work with global teams and top-tier clients.
- A people-first culture emphasizing trust, autonomy, and impact.

Our hiring process is designed to be transparent and efficient:
- HR Screening (60 mins): Initial conversation to discuss your background, role context, and logistics.
- Team Engagement Interview (30 mins): Focus on cultural alignment, professional presentation, and communication skills.
- Technical Deep Dive (Up to 2 rounds, 60 mins each): In-depth discussion of your engineering experience, system architecture, database design, and full-stack/LLM integration expertise.
