HR Director – Onboard Position

Costa Crociere is seeking an experienced HR Director to join our Human Resources Department onboard our vessels. This is a permanent, onsite position based in Genova, Italy.

About the Role

As an HR Director onboard, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions for the ship's crew. You will play a crucial role in managing staff, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staff onboard, overseeing their performance and development.
• Lead recruitment efforts for onboard personnel.
• Manage industrial relations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct investigations and handle conflict resolution effectively.
• Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary supervision as needed.
• Negotiate on behalf of the company in various HR-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in staff management.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Recruiting and Industrial Relations.
• Strong competencies in investigations, negotiation, conflict resolution, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary supervision.
