BCD Travel's Media & Entertainment division is seeking an experienced Entertainment Travel Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the entertainment industry and a proven track record in travel services. You will be working with major clients across the Music, Advertising, TV, and Film industries, providing exceptional travel management.

About the Role

As an Entertainment Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for planning, selling, and managing a comprehensive range of travel services. This fast-paced and exciting role requires a proactive approach to client service and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and sell travel services, including air and ground transportation, accommodation, and other related travel needs.
• Provide expert consultation and manage flight reservations, ticket issuance, and reissues.
• Service all client inquiries, requests, bookings, and ticketing to BCD standards.
• Handle post-booking queries, process changes, and manage reissues efficiently.
• Maintain composure and accuracy under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
• Anticipate and proactively address potential client challenges.
• Confidently and confidentially manage talent movements and large group travel.
• Manage multiple complex itineraries simultaneously.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
• Accurately apply travel supplier rules and adhere to client and BCD policies.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, including policies, procedures, and processes.
• Proficiency with Global Distribution System (GDS) Sabre.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Willingness to be flexible with roster start and finish times when needed.
• Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and sound judgment.
• Demonstrated professional customer service skills.
• Must have full working rights in Australia.
