Legal Consultant – Technology (Remote)

Axiom is seeking a skilled Legal Consultant with experience in technology law to join our team. This is a contract role, offering remote work flexibility across the APAC region. You will have the opportunity to work with F500 clients, providing high-calibre legal advice and support.

About the Role

As a Legal Consultant, you will be an integral part of our clients' legal and business teams. You will provide practical, commercially tailored legal advice across various business lines, focusing on technology-related matters. This role is ideal for a legal practitioner with 2-10 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) gained in private practice or in-house.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide spectrum of technology-related legal matters, including e-commerce, Cloud, FinTech, and other technology products and services.
• Collaborate with legal and business teams of F500 clients to support internal stakeholders in achieving company goals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology-related agreements, such as:
  • Inbound/outbound licensing agreements
  • Software development contracts
  • Services and consulting agreements
  • IT and business process outsourcing agreements
  • SaaS agreements
• Provide legal advice on issues associated with the development, implementation, and use of existing and new technology products and services.

Requirements

• 2-10 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in technology law.
• Experience advising on technology-related legal matters (e.g., e-commerce, Cloud, FinTech, technology products and services).
• Experience gained either within private practice or in-house.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate technology-related agreements.
• Strong understanding of legal issues in technology product and service development, implementation, and use.
