About the Role
Zscaler is seeking a Regional Director to join our Germany Sales team. This is a remote role based in Germany, with a preference for Munich, reporting to the Regional Vice President, Enterprise Germany. You will be responsible for a team of Account Executives in Germany, driving strategic growth and execution across the German enterprise market.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and develop world-class sales talent, fostering a culture that embraces Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I).
- Solve customer pain points by effectively communicating Zscaler's unique value proposition.
- Accurately forecast business on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Develop individual growth plans for each sales representative.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Marketing, Product Management, Demand Generation, and other key functional teams.
- Act as an executive sponsor for key partners, creating joint plans, generating pipeline, and driving opportunities to closure.
Requirements
- Native or professional fluency in German and English.
- 5+ years of experience leading successful Enterprise sales teams within the software and security industry.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working with partners, including Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and distributors.
- Demonstrated experience in hiring high-performing sales talent.
- A strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
- A collaborative approach, embracing a challenge culture with clear and respectful feedback.
- Deep customer empathy and a focus on solving real-world customer problems.
- A positive and constructive approach to problem-solving with a "can-do" spirit.
- A relentless focus on execution and a bias for action, delivering high-impact results quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the broader business landscape, customer goals, and how technology can drive business transformation.
- Proficiency in strategic sales planning.
- Experience closing net new logos.
