About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Motive, you will be responsible for developing and closing business with Motive’s largest prospects. You will target and sell to impactful companies within the physical economy across North America. This role is a key part of our significant investment in the Enterprise Go-To-Market (GTM) segment, where you will lead the charge in selling the value of our products and the business outcomes achievable with Motive.
You will sell across various industries, including trucking, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer transit. We are looking for individuals who are receptive to feedback, eager to learn, possess strong technical aptitude, and have a high attention to detail. A collaborative, "win-as-a-team" mentality is essential for success in our fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Territory: Texas (Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma). Candidates must reside in one of these states.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and win new Enterprise business by developing key executive relationships within target accounts.
- Drive expansion within key accounts by growing share of wallet through a deep understanding of each client’s business and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
- Leverage executive relationships to secure RFP wins and grow contractual-based business.
- Partner with your account team, utilizing customer analytics and available resources to optimize buying decisions.
- Resolve complex problems by identifying issues, thinking critically, and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with technical resources to demonstrate the power of integrations and how our partner ecosystem enhances the value of our hardware and software.
- Plan effectively to meet and exceed ongoing business goals and revenue quotas.
- Develop a deep understanding of our technology platform and operations, providing market insights for product iteration.
- Continuously study market trends to provide consultative insights to clients.
Requirements
- Proven deep Enterprise sales experience, with a history of partnering with F1000 clients.
- A strong hunter mentality, driven to win new logos and build business from the ground up.
- A minimum of 4 years of SaaS or industry-relevant Enterprise field sales experience.
- A demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas and rapidly growing your book of business, supported by data.
- Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes by understanding customer needs and Motive's solutions.
- A history of working independently with a data-driven mindset to achieve short, medium, and long-term sales goals.
- Best-in-class communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey key value propositions and manage objections.
