About the Role
As a Project Specialist, you will serve as a key customer service representative for our e-bike rebate and e-mobility programs. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate administration, implementation, and verification of projects. This position offers the flexibility of being fully remote, with a preference for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone to support clients in the Western U.S.
APTIM's Energy Transition team is a leader in delivering innovative energy solutions, including energy management, carbon management, smart energy infrastructure, distributed energy resources, and carbon-free mobility. We collaborate with clients to implement strategies that drive high-impact projects and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead customer service representative, engaging with customers via email and phone, and maintaining program databases.
- Review customer and contractor applications to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.
- Accurately maintain, update, and add entries to system databases.
- Provide project support, including reporting, scheduling, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with program partners to understand and address their needs.
- Conduct quality assurance and control of program processes, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Manage contract administration, track program performance, and report on key metrics.
- Assist in resolving program operation issues.
- Ensure compliance with all APTIM and client quality and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of program or project management experience, particularly in energy program management, implementation, or administrative oversight.
- Effective communication and client engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and tracking systems.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including report writing and spreadsheet analysis.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and recommend solutions to problems.
- Self-starter with strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
- Commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the energy efficiency, EV infrastructure, or electrification industries.
- Four years of previous office experience.
- Understanding of or interest in e-mobility (e-bikes, electric vehicles, vehicle charging, etc.).
- Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, or Vietnamese is highly preferred. Ability to speak additional languages may be advantageous.
