About the Role

As a Senior SEO Strategist, you will focus on high-value clients, elevating our client services to new heights. Your responsibilities will include strategic oversight of ranking plans, direct communication with key clients, and providing sophisticated support to Account Managers. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering outstanding results for high-profile clientele, safeguarding, and maximizing revenue through strategic upsells, contract renewals, and proactive client investment protection. You will closely monitor client performance and industry trends to anticipate and address challenges, fostering continuous improvement and staying at the forefront of SEO advancements to ensure our client services remain unparalleled in a dynamic digital landscape.

Internal Title: Senior Ranking Strategist, SMB

What Your Success Will Look Like

  • Provide specialized support for high-value clients, including direct communication, strategic oversight of ranking plans, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced SEO strategies tailored to the unique needs of high-value clients.
  • Contribute to product revenue growth by identifying and executing upselling opportunities within the high-value client portfolio.
  • Conduct pre-launch audits for new VIP clients to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and successful launch.
  • Analyze and create organic ranking goals, implementing tailored strategies to enhance visibility and drive targeted traffic for high-value clients.
  • Act as a senior-level resource, providing mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in client-facing roles within an SEO environment, specifically with high-value clients.
    • Strong understanding of organic ranking strategies and SEO best practices.
    • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms.
    • Experience with upselling and revenue growth strategies is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a client-centric approach.
    • Detail-oriented and organized with the capacity to oversee and optimize complex plans.

What We Offer

  • Compensation:
    • Base salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, exclusive of fringe benefits. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
