ECS is seeking a highly experienced AI Expert to join our team. This role offers a hybrid work model in our Memphis, TN office or the flexibility of a fully remote position.
About the Role
As an AI Expert, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data requirements, designing and implementing AI solutions, and ensuring the successful deployment of machine learning models. You will translate complex technical concepts into understandable requirements and contribute to the strategic direction of AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user and business data requirements to determine AI needs.
- Determine the functionality of AI applications and perform predictive modeling.
- Maintain documentation for data analysis and machine learning models.
- Develop, analyze, and organize data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for AI development.
- Translate technical AI specifications into clear, non-technical requirements.
- Develop and document AI features and predictive models with performance metrics.
- Assist the team with AI cost estimates and implementation planning.
- Implement best practices for AI scalability, supportability, maintenance, and performance.
- Create documentation for existing and future AI interfaces.
- Develop AI models and algorithms for predictive analytics.
- Apply sound analysis, business practices, and scientific expertise to solve customer problems.
- Determine the accuracy and reasonableness of data using expert knowledge.
- Participate in business requirement gathering sessions, understanding user data requirements, and reconciling technical and business requirements.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to security and compliance controls.
- Mentor and train other team members, sharing expertise across teams and with customers.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, or a related technical discipline is preferred. Equivalent work experience in AI may substitute for a degree.
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card Holder and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- 12+ years of experience in information technologies, data analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
- Proven ability to assess data analysis needs and translate them into AI solutions.
- Experience with AI applications and machine learning models.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with AI methodologies such as neural networks, decision trees, and regression models.
- Knowledge/experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
- Experience with AI deployment and productionizing models.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
- Extensive understanding of Relational and Non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Proficiency in ETL / Batch processing using Python, Java, or Go-lang.
- Experience with integration with AWS cloud.
- Experience in RAG pipelines for LLM-based applications and embedding models.
