About the Role
This is a transformative opportunity to join Remote as a Principal Analyst, Marketing Analytics. As the highest-level individual contributor within our Revenue Operations team, you will not only support our strategy but actively shape it. We are seeking a visionary, highly autonomous expert to serve as the primary strategic partner to leadership, owning the long-term vision for our marketing data ecosystem. You will move beyond project execution to architect frameworks that define our global marketing strategy, pioneering predictive attribution models and unlocking the macroeconomic impact of brand equity. Your governance will dictate Remote’s global investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Predictive Modeling
- Next-Gen Attribution & MMM: Own and evolve the architectural vision for Remote’s attribution logic, merging multi-touch attribution (MTA) with Media Mix Modeling (MMM) for a unified view of performance marketing and organic top-of-funnel streams.
- Predictive LTV & Budget Optimization: Architect and maintain advanced Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and predictive churn models, directing how these signals feed into ad platforms and algorithmic bidding engines to maximize efficiency.
- Executive Planning & Capital Allocation: Partner directly with finance and marketing leadership to drive annual and quarterly planning, owning macroeconomic forecasting models for global budget allocation and ROI expectations.
Global Frameworks & Data Governance
- Brand & Organic Quantification: Establish the global standard for measuring non-paid marketing initiatives, building robust frameworks for Share of Voice, brand sentiment, and organic compounding to justify long-term brand investments.
- Macro-Funnel Optimization: Analyze the end-to-end B2B funnel, identifying systemic friction points and white-space opportunities from initial awareness to closed-won enterprise revenue.
- Data Strategy & Guardianship: Act as the ultimate authority on marketing data integrity, partnering with Data Engineering and RevOps to design upstream data infrastructure and ensure a single source of truth across HubSpot, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
Leadership & Innovation
- Organizational Multiplier & Mentorship: Serve as the technical and strategic lead for the analytics organization, mentoring senior analysts, elevating the team's technical bar, and fostering a culture of analytical excellence.
- AI & Automation Pioneering: Standardize the deployment of AI, machine learning, and advanced automation within the marketing analytics stack to accelerate insight generation and eliminate manual reporting overhead.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: Distinguished track record in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with extensive experience embedded in high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise environments.
- Architect-Level Attribution: Mastery in designing, scaling, and defending complex attribution frameworks (Multi-Touch, Media Mix Modeling, Unified Measurement) across complex buyer journeys.
- Macro-Funnel Vision: Deep expertise in quantifying abstract, non-paid focus areas; proven history of designing measurement frameworks for global brand health, organic ecosystems, Share of Voice (SoV), and long-tail market expansion.
- Advanced Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency across the modern data stack, including production-grade coding, architecting data models in dbt, optimizing Snowflake environments, and leveraging AI/automation.
- Ecosystem Governance: Deep familiarity navigating and integrating enterprise CRMs and automation systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) with advanced BI ecosystems (Sigma, Tableau, Looker).
- Executive Gravitas & Communication: Exceptional ability to transform dense, technical data into high-impact strategic narratives for C-suite executives.
- Language: Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Remote-First Mindset: Strong aptitude for asynchronous communication, high autonomy, and self-driven documentation.
