Unilever is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Territory Sales Officer to join our team in Lucknow. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional with a passion for sales and distribution to contribute to a leading global company.

About the Role

As a Territory Sales Officer, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance and strengthening our market presence within your assigned territory. You will manage and optimize the distribution network, build strong relationships with trade partners, and ensure the effective execution of sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets through direct market visits and by effectively managing the distribution system.
  • Oversee the distributor system, including both front-end operations and back-end infrastructure.
  • Analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement within your geography.
  • Negotiate with distributors and train their teams on customer management to drive business growth.
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with trade partners to enhance market position and gather market feedback.
  • Develop strategies to improve the competitive standing in the market through enhanced customer service.
  • Monitor distributor and distributor sales team performance, taking corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Full-time Graduation degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Channel Sales.
  • Proficiency in ROI Calculations and Distribution Management.
  • Experience with distributor appointment processes and Sales Planning.
  • Experience in conducting and executing promotional activities.
  • Knowledge of MS-Office, particularly Excel.
  • Decent communication skills in English and the local language are desired.
