Casey's is seeking a motivated Associate IT Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting Casey's strategic objectives by assisting with the development, testing, and maintenance of technical products and platforms. You will have the opportunity to coordinate on projects and system maintenance activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of new and existing technical solutions by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in maintaining roadmaps to facilitate application software development, ensuring work is prioritized according to business requirements.
• Monitor, identify, assess, and resolve straightforward software problems to ensure applications function correctly.
• Proactively learn engineering and business best practices, and gain practical knowledge from senior team members.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated unit tests to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
• Research and suggest improvements to enhance the quality of technical solutions and supporting infrastructure to better meet user needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Casey's will not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience building and maintaining technical solutions in a business environment.
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Capacity to work effectively with other IT professionals and business partners.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to remain organized and self-motivated.
• Proficiency in identifying problems, analyzing information, and evaluating options to determine solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with MS Azure, SQL, and C#.
