About the Role

APTIM is seeking a dedicated LDAR Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing leak detection and repair (LDAR) activities, utilizing various data collection and evaluation techniques. You will work with complex analyzers and instrumentation to gather data and optimize system performance, while also developing and maintaining essential records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) tasks according to established policies and procedures at assigned project sites.
• Conduct daily analyzer calibration.
• Perform routine repair and maintenance of analyzers.
• Complete quarterly certification of analyzers.
• Coordinate LDAR field activities with contract technicians.
• Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.
• Repair leaking components.
• Generate work requests and follow up on LDAR maintenance repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities and repairs.
• Identify LDAR components and conduct applicability reviews.

Requirements

• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including hot/cold environments and inclement weather.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Willingness to work at heights and climb tower ladders (100 ft.+) and ascend/descend stairs up to ten flights.
• Ability to bend, stretch, walk, and climb for up to 10 hours a day while carrying a 30 lb.+ backpack on concrete and/or steel surfaces.
• Ability to wear a full body harness and fall arrest system in addition to a 30 lb.+ backpack containing monitoring equipment.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
