About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Front-End Engineer to spearhead UI strategy and development for high-scale web products. This role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership, focusing on React, Next.js, and TypeScript, alongside strong expertise in headless CMS architectures. You will be instrumental in building design systems, integrating content models, and ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and scalability. This position involves close collaboration with design and product teams, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices within distributed Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of high-fidelity UI, including animations and business logic, using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Architect and integrate headless CMS solutions, ensuring seamless content delivery and authoring experiences.
• Build and maintain scalable Design Systems following Atomic Design principles, utilizing Storybook.
• Mentor and guide front-end engineers, upholding high standards for code quality, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+), and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Product teams to ensure technical feasibility and pixel-perfect execution.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with modern styling frameworks such as Tailwind, MUI, or CSS Modules.
• Strong experience with headless CMS, particularly Sanity.io (including GROQ/GraphQL), and migrations from platforms like WordPress or AEM.
• Solid understanding of state management solutions (e.g., Zustand, Redux, XState) and front-end testing frameworks.
• Proven experience leading distributed teams within Agile/SCRUM environments.
