About The Opportunity

Homeward is seeking a motivated and results-driven Market Sales Agent to manage our expanding property inventory. In this critical role, you will oversee property sales, negotiate deals, and ensure an exceptional experience for all parties involved. This remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our agent partners, monitor market trends, and adapt listing strategies to achieve swift and profitable sales. You will directly impact Homeward's growth by optimizing asset disposition and driving strategic sales outcomes.

We are specifically looking for candidates based in Houston, Dallas, or Austin, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Real Estate Disposition Management:
    • Lead and manage all phases of the market sales process, including pricing, negotiation, contract management, and closing.
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent property sales and providing regular performance updates to management.
    • Collaborate with agent partners to develop accurate pricing strategies that attract qualified buyers and facilitate rapid sales.
    • Analyze showing activity and feedback to identify property condition issues and propose cost-effective solutions.
    • Adjust pricing strategies as needed to secure offers promptly while maximizing returns for Homeward and our clients.
  • Offer Negotiation & Closing Coordination:
    • Review, negotiate, and manage incoming offers to ensure favorable terms for Homeward and our clients.
    • Partner with closing coordinators to facilitate timely and seamless closings.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Build strong relationships with agent partners, aligning on listing strategies and providing guidance to achieve mutual success.
    • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (General Managers, Repairs, Transaction Coordinators) to streamline processes throughout the disposition lifecycle.
    • Identify properties at risk of missing target timelines or pricing, and collaborate with General Managers to develop and implement resolution strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Real Estate Sales or a comparable industry role. Experience in the Dallas or Houston markets is preferred.
  • Proven ability to conduct Comparative Market Analysis (CMAs) for effective pricing.
  • Strong understanding of conventional financing guidelines.
  • Active Real Estate License is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to market changes.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
