Junior Construction Underwriter

About the Role

Confluenza srl is seeking a motivated Junior Construction Underwriter to join our team in Milan. This is an onsite, full-time, fixed-term contract position for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite construction projects, with a focus on renewable energy.
• Assess risks and determine appropriate insurance coverage.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on new technologies within the renewable energy sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (specializations in renewable energy, civil, mechanical, or construction are preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• An entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience as an underwriter, broker, or in a relevant equivalent role within the insurance sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of new technologies related to renewable energy solutions will be highly appreciated.
