Position Overview
Kate Farms is seeking an experienced, part-time Project Manager (30-35 hours per week) to provide embedded support for our Blended Program through the end of 2026. Reporting to the Associate Director, Project Management, you will be a key partner in driving strategic initiatives across product development, manufacturing, and commercialization within our blended nutrition portfolio.
This role requires leading cross-functional coordination and ensuring program success in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will manage timelines and dependencies, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and ensure critical milestones are achieved. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and brings a strong background in consumer-packaged goods, with demonstrated success in complex programs requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
What You Will Do
- Operate as an embedded leader, driving execution across multiple interconnected initiatives within the Blended Program, ensuring projects align with key business objectives.
- Lead project team members to own the delivery of key milestones, proactively identifying and removing blockers.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and governance processes across cross-functional workstreams.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, decisions, and action items, driving accountability for deliverables.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Product Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
- Coordinate activities supporting product renovation, reformulation, packaging innovation, manufacturing integration, portfolio optimization, and brand integration.
- Support portfolio strategy and commercialization readiness by driving launch planning, customer transition activities, and go-to-market execution.
- Facilitate project meetings, communicate status updates, and provide visibility into program health, risks, and progress.
- Identify opportunities to improve coordination, streamline execution, and enhance collaboration across interdependent workstreams.
- Prepare executive-ready project updates, recommendations, and reporting materials for leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of project management, program management, or related experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification required.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
- Exceptional organizational and project execution skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear action plans.
- Experience developing and maintaining project plans, managing dependencies, and driving accountability.
- Ability to work independently while building strong cross-team partnerships.

- Experience within consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food, nutrition, healthcare, wellness, or related industries.

- Experience supporting packaging innovation, product transformation, portfolio management, or brand integration initiatives.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms.

Contract Details
- Contract role, part-time (30-35 hours per week) through the end of 2026.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $85.00 - $105.00 USD
- On-Target-Earnings (OTE) comprised of base salary plus a variable component.
