About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Motive, you will be responsible for developing and closing business with our largest prospects in North America. This is a critical role within our expanding Enterprise segment, where you will drive sales of our products and highlight the business outcomes achievable with Motive. You will engage with companies across various industries, including trucking, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing.
This fast-paced, high-energy role requires a receptive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, technical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset is essential for success in our Go-to-Market team.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and win new Enterprise business by building key executive relationships within target accounts.
- Grow existing accounts by increasing share of wallet through a deep understanding of client businesses and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
- Leverage executive relationships to secure RFP wins and grow contractual business.
- Collaborate with your account team, utilizing customer analytics and resources to optimize client decisions.
- Identify and resolve issues, critically thinking to implement optimal solutions.
- Work with technical resources to demonstrate the power of integrations and our partner ecosystem.
- Plan and execute strategies to meet and exceed revenue quotas.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our technology platform and operations, providing market insights for product iteration.
- Continuously study market trends to provide consultative insights to clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of Enterprise field sales experience, specifically in SaaS or a relevant industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and demonstrating significant book growth, supported by data.
- Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes by understanding customer needs and Motive's solutions.
- Demonstrated history of working independently with a data-driven approach to achieve sales goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying key value propositions and effectively managing objections.
