About the Role

Fortinet is seeking a highly motivated and tenacious Named Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to driving new business opportunities through direct sales engagements with a portfolio of named accounts and strategic partners. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and acting as the primary interface between our clients and Fortinet's internal divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and articulate Fortinet's technology and value proposition to key decision-makers.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with customer contacts, including executive-level stakeholders, to understand their business imperatives and IT drivers.
  • Sell Fortinet products and services using a consultative selling approach, maintaining excellent relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Research target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and qualify buying interest and urgency.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans focused on achieving enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions.
  • Develop strategies and orchestrate internal resources to maximize sales volume within your accounts.
  • Collaborate effectively with System Engineers, Channel Managers, and specialist sales teams.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to ensure they are maximizing value from their Fortinet investments.
  • Keep customers informed about Fortinet product roadmaps to aid their planning and risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales experience in the hi-tech industry, preferably in Cybersecurity and Networking.
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Consistent history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas, with demonstrated career stability and growth.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive drive, strong attention to detail, and a passion for winning.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both German and English (oral and written), coupled with excellent listening abilities.
  • Full professional fluency in both English and German is required.
