About the Role

ManTech is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Senior Scrum Master to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will guide cross-functional development teams in adopting and excelling with Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide teams on self-organization, effective sprint planning, and core Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices.
• Assess and coach teams and individuals to higher levels of Agile maturity and performance.
• Identify and remove operational impediments, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs, refine stories, and align team efforts with product vision.
• Foster a trusting, safe, and blame-free environment that encourages collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and communication to enhance transparency.
• Provide servant leadership and lead by example to support the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Proven experience with Agile practices and frameworks, with a strong preference for the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Active Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SSM).
• Demonstrated experience using Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne.
• An active Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications (e.g., A-CSM, CSP, RTE, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master).
• Experience with modern software development practices (CI/CD, TDD, automated testing).
• Familiarity with common software development technology stacks (e.g., Java, .NET, JavaScript).
• Experience in IT Security, Application Security, System Architecture, or DevSecOps environments.
• Knowledge of federal Government directives, policies, and regulations.

• A competitive salary range of $113,500.00 - $176,500.00, with final compensation dependent on experience, skills, location, and other factors.
