About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Motive, you will be instrumental in developing and closing business with our largest prospects. You will engage with influential companies across North America that drive the physical economy. Motive is making significant investments in its Enterprise Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to capitalize on strong market positioning. In this role, you will lead sales efforts, articulating the value of our products and the business outcomes achievable through partnership with Motive.
Our Enterprise Account Executives serve a variety of industries, including trucking, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer transit, or any business operating a fleet of vehicles. We are looking for individuals who are receptive to feedback, eager to learn, possess strong technical aptitude, and have a keen eye for detail. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset is essential for success within our GTM team. This is a high-energy role within a fast-paced environment that demands high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and secure new Enterprise business by building key executive relationships within target accounts.
- Drive expansion within key accounts by deeply understanding client businesses and identifying opportunities for increased collaboration and share of wallet growth.
- Leverage executive relationships to ensure success in RFP processes and grow contractual business.
- Collaborate with your account team, utilizing customer analytics and available resources to optimize buying decisions.
- Identify and resolve issues by thinking critically to determine optimal courses of action and implementing effective solutions.
- Partner with technical resources to demonstrate the power of integrations and how our partner ecosystem enhances the value of our hardware and software.
- Plan effectively to meet and exceed ongoing business goals and revenue quotas.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our technology platform and operations, providing feedback for product and business iterations.
- Continuously study market trends to provide consultative insights to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Enterprise sales, with a track record of partnering with F1000 clients.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant Enterprise field sales experience in SaaS or a related industry.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas and rapidly growing your book of business, supported by data.
- Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes by understanding customer needs and presenting Motive's unique solutions.
- Experience working independently with a data-driven mindset to achieve short, medium, and long-term sales goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey key value propositions and manage objections.

- On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position range from $230,000—$300,000 USD, depending on location.
