Customer Delivery Specialist – Payments
CSG is seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Delivery Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent, remote position within the United States, offering a salary range of $46,202.54 - $73,922.52 per year, with eligibility for bonus opportunities.
About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, collaborating with internal teams such as Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and Partner Success. You will guide customers through integration processes, ensure operational readiness, and build strong, long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal CSG departments.
- Lead kickoff sessions, define project requirements, and advise on integration best practices.
- Support clients through operational and underwriting readiness.
- Train partners on platform functionality, reporting tools, integration flows, and merchant lifecycle processes.
- Develop trust with clients and ensure a smooth handover to the Customer Success team post-launch.
- Participate in conference calls, training sessions, and business reviews to resolve issues and implement solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Educate customers on CSG Payments products, APIs, terminals, gateways, and platform capabilities.
- Coordinate and escalate tickets to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to process improvements, playbooks, and team enablement, mentoring peers on complex customer scenarios.
- Occasionally travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in payments, PayFac, merchant acquiring, fintech, or SaaS onboarding roles.
- Proven success managing onboarding or implementation projects for ISVs, ISOs, government merchants, or enterprise merchants.
- Strong understanding of APIs, payment terminals, gateways, compliance frameworks, and payment operations.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), onboarding platforms, ticketing systems, and project management tools.
- Ability to translate complex payment workflows into clear customer guidance.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex implementations simultaneously.
- Experience with government, healthcare, utilities, recurring billing, marketplace, or moderate-risk verticals is a plus.
- Proficiency in English in a business environment.
