Solutions Architect – Sports (Remote)
Databricks is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to join our team. While candidates in the listed US locations are encouraged, candidates in other locations will be considered for this remote role.

The Impact You Will Have
- Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications, promoting the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
- Act as an expert Solutions Architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Opportunity for continued development in technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.
What We Look For
- 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycles in a technical pre-sales capacity.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by building relationships and orchestrating teams for long-term customer success.
- Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% when needed.

Compensation
The pay range for this role is $180,000—$247,500 USD. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications, training, and specific work location. The total compensation package may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
