We are seeking a dedicated Learning & Development Specialist to join our team and support the design, coordination, and delivery of learning and talent initiatives for Holistic Health. This is a remote, permanent position.
About the Role
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will partner closely with the Director and Manager of Learning & Organizational Development, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. Your primary focus will be to help execute programs that build organizational capability, strengthen employee development, and support business performance. You will play a key role in administering and optimizing our learning roadmap through Learning Management System (LMS) management, training coordination, reporting, and learner support. This role also contributes to onboarding, functional learning, leadership development, compliance training, and special talent programs, ensuring learning operations and talent processes are organized, responsive, and measurable.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise L&OD Strategy & Governance: Support the operationalization and execution of the Holistic Health L&OD strategy, aligning with business priorities and leadership expectations. Implement governance, standards, and measurement for learning and development solutions.
- Learning Management Administration: Manage the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) for Holistic Health, including course availability, scheduling, tracking completion, and maintaining employee transcripts. Coordinate LMS administration with affiliates for essential compliance training and provide LMS support, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Learning Programs: Assist in designing, creating, and executing functional learning programs. Collaborate with stakeholders on talent/performance management programming and support the development and implementation of special programs like mentorship and internship initiatives.
- Workforce Insights & Continuous Improvement: Leverage AI-powered learning and productivity tools to design innovative training solutions and enhance learner engagement. Utilize digital collaboration and data management platforms to manage learning resources, collect feedback, and track metrics. Integrate interactive and self-directed learning technologies to create engaging learner experiences.
- Compliance, Systems & Budget Management: Ensure learning and talent processes comply with policies and regulations. Support enterprise-wide compliance training programs, including assignment, tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) in a corporate or organizational environment.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge managing LMS platforms, including user administration, course assignment, reporting, systems configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in AI and digital fluency, including experience with tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Co-Pilot, and other digital collaboration platforms.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Co-Pilot, Forms.
- Experience producing content for mobile, social, and collaborative learning environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively across business units and project teams, as well as independently.
- Proficiency with eLearning technologies, platforms, and virtual learning tools.
- Experience generating and analyzing training reports, compliance metrics, and learning analytics.
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SharePoint and Microsoft Forms.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and organizational effectiveness methodologies.
- Experience with learning/talent systems and analytics.
