About the Role
Sporty Group is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to enhance software quality across our engineering organization. This role focuses on building scalable quality solutions and empowering teams to own their quality processes, rather than solely on feature testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
- Create reusable testing tools and libraries.
- Enhance test reliability and minimize flaky tests.
- Manage test data and testing infrastructure.
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement quality gates for releases.
- Improve deployment confidence and testing efficiency.
- Define testing strategies and promote best practices.
- Assist teams with complex testing challenges.
- Review solutions for quality and reliability.
- Coach engineers on testing methodologies and quality ownership.
- Develop standards, documentation, and guidelines for quality assurance.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing.
- Strong coding proficiency, ideally in Python, or willingness to work with Python.
- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
