About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical, business-oriented Senior Data Analyst to bridge the gap between large-scale data signals and strategic advertising intelligence. This pivotal role involves transforming mobile location data, audience metrics, and live sports campaign delivery into actionable narratives that drive revenue and client growth. The ideal candidate is a SQL expert who thrives in complex data environments and is eager to leverage GenAI tools to automate workflows and elevate the quality of campaign insights for major global brands and agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high-impact dashboards and visualizations focusing on advertising campaign performance, audience delivery, and inventory measurement.
- Support a proactive analytics program by providing in-flight pacing insights, optimization strategies, and comprehensive post-campaign wrap reports.
- Analyze multi-faceted datasets including audience composition, reach and frequency, geography, and venue-specific performance.
- Integrate internal data with third-party measurement sources such as Nielsen, NMI, MRI-Simmons, and iSpot.
- Translate technical campaign data into concise, client-ready value propositions for executive leadership and sales teams.
- Automate recurring analytical workflows and reporting requests to enhance scalability and data quality control.
- Utilize GenAI tools and custom prompts to accelerate insight generation, reporting narratives, and documentation.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Ad Operations to investigate data anomalies and improve overall data architecture.
- Conduct ad hoc strategic analysis to identify inventory opportunities, pricing support, and long-term client growth potential.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Advertising Analytics, or a similar quantitative role focused on marketing measurement.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, window functions, and performance-aware querying against large-scale datasets.
- Deep experience with advertising campaign analysis, media planning, attribution, and audience segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data environments such as AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data automation, statistical analysis, and repeatable reporting workflows.
- Strong expertise with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Adobe Analytics.
- Proven ability to turn complex performance data into clear business narratives that drive renewals and upsells.
- Demonstrated interest in using modern AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and analytical consistency.
- Solid foundation in descriptive and predictive statistics, data modeling, and quality control.
- Familiarity with Unix commands, regular expressions, and structured data workflows.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
