About the Role
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will contribute to the completion of weekly and bi-weekly payroll processes. Your work will be critical in ensuring prompt and compliant payroll and tax processes for our global team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily payroll operations for a rapidly growing organization of over 10,000 employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, including paychecks and W-2s.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate tax records.
- Support tax research as needed.
- Stay current with U.S. payroll regulations, payroll tax laws, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, and timely payroll tax setup and filings.
Requirements
- 2+ years of progressive experience in payroll operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple, diverse, and potentially conflicting priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, IRS guidelines). Multi-state payroll experience is preferred.
- Experience with payroll systems, particularly Oracle and ADP Smart Compliance.
- Direct experience with payroll processing, including multi-state and international payroll tax compliance.
- Experience managing high-volume payrolls across multiple legal entities.
- Oracle HCM experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change during periods of rapid organizational growth.
- Adaptability to thrive in a hyper-growth environment, with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Ability to interpret and process complex information, delivering solutions that align with business and compliance requirements under tight deadlines.
- Proven cross-functional leadership, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Effective negotiation and consensus-building abilities, with experience working across diverse teams.
What We Offer
- The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is $60,000—$70,000 USD.
