About the Role

Samsung Electronics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Milan as an Mx-scm Support Intern. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of factory operations and gain hands-on experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

As an Mx-scm Support Intern, you will be instrumental in:

• Supporting the enhancement of manufacturing production capacity to meet Return To Forecast (RTF) demands.
• Assisting in the establishment of short-term and long-term plans for line operation and material supply, crucial for securing necessary resources.
• Contributing to the improvement of factory operation efficiency to maximize demand satisfaction.
• Periodically monitoring and controlling shipping lead times to ensure timely product delivery to buyers.

Requirements

While this is an internship role, a foundational understanding of the following areas will be beneficial:

• Manufacturing capacity management
• Material procurement (short-term and long-term)
• Production capacity planning
• Demand satisfaction strategies
• Shipping lead time management
